Before NMU: Two-sport athlete who played football and basketball for Lincoln Park High School. All-City and All-Area selection. Reached State Playoffs five times. Member of teams that won conference and regional championships.

Personal: Son of Aminu and Mariama Habib. Born August 25, 2000. Uncle Nazr Mohammad played 18 seasons in the NBA.
