Before NMU: Played two seasons at the University of Maine as a strong safety. In 2012, recorded nine total tackles on six solo and three assisted tackles in nine games.

High School: Lettered three times at Montclair High School. Named all-conference, all-county, all-area and defensive MVP. Team was state final runner up.

Personal: Enjoys cooking, playing video games and reading. Majoring in communications. Son of Bayyinah Muslim and Nate Bush. Born on October 23, 1993.
