Before NMU:  Played three seasons at Villanova University. Is 43-for-82 in his career for 418 passing yards has two touchdowns and six interceptions. Has 52 rushing attempts for 119 yards and a touchdown. 2011: Played six games at quarterback and started four. Completed 43-of-80 passes for 412 yards with two touchdowns and six interceptions. Rushed 48 times for 88 yards and one touchdown. Threw for a career-high 127 yards on 11-of-24 at James Madison. Completed 11-for-25 for 109 yards passing at Temple and rushed 17 times for 59 yards. 2010: Redshirted. Played one game with a six-yard pass and three carries for 21 yards.

High School:  Lettered four times at St. Augustine Prep. Atlantic City Press Player of the Year. First team all-conference. First team all-South Jersey. Holds career touchdown pass records in South Jersey and Cape Atlantic League history. Second all-time in career passing yards in South Jersey history. Also played two years of baseball and a year of basketball and track and field.

Personal:  Majoring in media production and new technology. Son of Jerry and Debbie Thomas. Father was a pitcher in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization for nine years. Brother Jesse played basketball at Old Dominion. Brother Erik played baseball at Fairleigh Dickinson. Born on November 2, 1991.
