2013: Played in nine games where he was fourth on the team with his 19 receptions. Had 201 total receiving yards with his longest reception being for 31 yards. Also had 10 kick off returns where he had a total of 210 yards. His best game came against Ferris State where he made five catches for 71 yards (Nov. 16).

2012:  Lettered for the first time after appearing in all 11 games as wide receiver. Tallied 144 receiving yards on 16 catches. Had 43 yards receiving and a touchdown on four grabs vs. Grand Valley (Oct. 13). Had 12 kick and punt returns for 149 yards.

2011:  Played slot receiver at Valparaiso University under Dale Carlson. Named team offensive and special teams player of the week.

High School:  Lettered three times at Boca Ciega High School under Stevie Thomas. Played running back, kick return and punt return. Served as team captain. Ranked No. 6 running back in the country as a senior.

Personal:  Enjoys playing video games and listening to music. Majoring in multimedia journalism. Son of Tawana Cooks and Kelvin Smarwt.
