2015: Named to the all-GLIAC first team for the second-straight year after placing second in the GLIAC in league digs (344) and tied for fifth in league digs per set (5.06). Overall, averaged 4.82 digs per set and finished the year with 569 digs, a single-season program record. Wrapped up her career with 1,748 digs, good for second in Northern Michigan history. Is one of only three Wildcats to surpass 1,500 digs in her career.
2014: Was named team MVP after earning all-GLIAC first team honors. Ranked third in the conference in digs with 493 and fourth in digs per set with an average of 4.98. Was also solid at the service line with 32 aces on the season, ninth in conference. Her best performance came against Ohio Dominican, when she recorded 33 digs. Earned all-tournament team honors at the Keweenaw Classic at the beginning of the season.
2013: Appeared in 33 matches and 121 sets. Team leader in digs with 449 and service aces with 48. Also recorded 94 assists and one kill. Had a season high of 25 digs against West Florida (Sep 7), and a season high of four service aces against Lake Superior St. (Sep 14), and Walsh (Oct 12).
2012: Lettered for the first time after appearing in 18 matches and 66 sets. Tallied 231 digs and led the team in digs/set average at 3.50. Had double digit digs in 13 matches with a career-high 27 digs at Missouri S&T (Sept. 7).
Before NMU: Lettered twice at Shakopee High School. All-state honorable mention, all-conference and team captain. 2009 team was class AAA state champions. 2011 team was 25-4. Team was all-state academic. Ran a season of track. Played club for Mizuno Northern Lights, Shakopee Volleyball Association and USA High Performance.
Personal: Likes being outdoors, playing sports, watching movies and being spontaneous. Majoring in sports science. Daughter of Joanna Lyons. Grandpa Charles played basketball and baseball at Wake Forest and professional basketball for Providence Pioneers.
