Biography

2014: Ranked third in the conference averaging 39.4 yards per punt.  Had 17 punts land inside the 20-yard line with only four touch backs.  Forced 22 fair catches with his longest punt of 60-yards coming against Ferris State (Nov. 8).

2013: Played in eight games as a punter where he had 36 punts. Averaged 42.1 yards per punt with a long of 62, while also punting ten balls inside the 20 yard line.

2012:  Redshirted.

High School:  Lettered twice at Tremper High School under Frank Matrise. Played punter, kicker and linebacker. Also participated in wrestling and baseball.

Personal:  Majoring in sports science. Both parents attended NMU. Cousin Jason Salani and uncle Steve Salani played football for the Wildcats. Son of Brian and Mary Salani. Born on October 5, 1993.
