Biography

2015: Appeared in all 11 games, making 44 tackles (26 solo, 18 assisted). Forced fumbles against Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 3) and at Walsh (Oct. 31). Reached the double digits in tackles three times, posting a season-high 13 against Saginaw Valley State.

2014: Appeared in two games, making four tackles. Had a sack for a loss of nine yards against Quincy (Sept. 13).

2013: Played in four games, making six tackles, five of which were solo tackles, against Hillsdale (Oct. 5).

2012:  Redshirted.

High School: Lettered twice at Rockford High School under Ralph Mengor. All-conference and all-area selection. Team was region and district champions during senior year. Also participated in baseball. Team was state champions in 2011.

Personal: Majoring in construction management. Son of John and Mary Boonstra.
