2014: Was named a team captain. Played in nine games leading the team with 655 yards on the year for an average of 72.8 yards per game. Ranked second on the team with five rushing touchdowns. Out of the back field, caught seven passes for 47 yards. Ran for over 100 yards in three games with a season-high 135 against Quincy (Sept. 13).
2013: Led the Wildcats running game while playing in all ten games. Had team highs for rushes (145), rushing yards (545), and touchdowns (5). He rushed for over 100 yards against Wayne State (Oct. 26) and Northwood (Nov. 2) scoring two touchdowns in each game as well. Also had 93 receiving yards off of 10 catches. Named team's Offensive Most Improved.
2012: Appeared in three games. Played two games at linebacker and one at running back. Tallied three solo tackles on the season. Rushed six times for 21 yards at Ohio Dominican (Sept. 15).
2011: Lettered for the first time. Appeared in all 11 games, recording 44 total tackles (21 solo and 23 assisted). Forced a fumble against Michigan Tech (Nov. 12). Named team’s defensive newcomer of the year.
High School: Lettered four times at Ishpeming High School under Jeff Olson. Detroit Free Press First Team All-State linebacker. All-U.P. Dream Team Linebacker. Co-Defensive player of the year. All Conference. All Conference First Team linebacker, running back, offensive line backer. State Runner-Up senior year. Also was an All-State athlete in track and field for three years.
Personal: Likes to hunt and fish. Father, Bobby Jurasin played football at NMU (1982-85), the Canadian Football League (1986-97), and coached football at NMU. Brother Dylan played football at SVSU and NMU. Majoring in criminal justice. Son of Bobby and Carrie Jurasin. Born on May 25, 1992.
