NMU Golf Announces 2025/26 Spring Schedule

MARQUETTE, Mich. -- NMU golf head coach Ben Johnson has announced the spring tournament schedule for 2025/26.

The teams begin the second half of the season during NMU's spring break, when both the men and women travel to Wesley Chapel, Florida, to compete in the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff at the Saddlebrook Golf Resort. 

The wildcats exit spring break and enter a pair of dual meets, with both teams competing in the SVSU Spring Invite and Flyer Spring Invite on March 14-15 and March 30-31, respectively. The men compete at Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington, while the women are at the Cherry Blossom Golf Club in Georgetown for the SVSU spring invite, with the respective clubs a mere 15-minute drive apart. Both teams will compete at Bolingbrook CC for the Flyer Invite. 

The teams compete in respective tournaments hosted by Ohio Dominican at the beginning of April to round out the regular season, with the men competing at the Lancaster GC and women at the Pinnacle GC, with courses 45 minutes apart from each other in Lancaster and Grove City, Ohio. 

After the regular season concludes in Ohio, the Wildcats have a quick turnaround for the GLIAC Tournament in the middle of April. The men begin the tournament on April 15, with the women starting on April 22, both taking place in Augusta, Michigan. The men will compete at Stoatin Brae, while the women will compete just six minutes away at Stonehedge North.
