MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University running back Noah Dobert has been named a Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Second Team All-American, marking another milestone in a historic season for the Wildcats.

Dobert becomes the first player in Northern Michigan football history to earn D2CCA All-American recognition, capping a year that featured multiple school, conference and national honors.

The redshirt freshman delivered one of the most dominant rushing seasons in Division II, finishing the year with 1,656 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, both single-season records at NMU. He ranked third nationally in rushing yards per game (150.5) and stood among the national leaders in total rushing yards and yards per carry (6.3).

Dobert's season was highlighted by a record-breaking performance in the season finale vs. Wayne State, where he rushed for 406 yards and four touchdowns, setting a new NMU single-game rushing mark. The performance earned him his third GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week award of the season and the D2Football.com National Offensive Player of the Week honor.

In addition to his All-America accolades, Dobert was named the GLIAC Offensive Back of the Year, earned All-GLIAC First Team recognition and was selected to the D2CCA All-Super Region 3 First Team.
