MARQUETTE, Mich. - A singular match is on the horizon for Northern Michigan University's men's soccer team, as the Wildcats look to clash against the Huskies of St. Cloud State this Saturday in Minnesota.
The Huskies currently have a record of 1-2 overall and drew 2-2 against the Cats in their last matchup during the 2023 regular season. The Wildcats will look to improve on their 3-2-1 record against the Huskies and continue to reach milestones in their program history book.
Northern Michigan will kick-off against St. Cloud State on Saturday, September 21, at 8 p.m.

A Look at St. Cloud State University
The Huskies are headed into Saturday coming off of a 1-1 weekend, with a most recent 7-2 win against Upper Iowa University. For St. Cloud State's third game of the season, senior midfielder, Philip Caputo, was named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week, after he scored three goals and earned three assists against Upper Iowa. Also running as key players for the Huskies this season are Mika Folstad, a fifth-year midfielder with seven points, and Owen Worsdell, a junior defender with five points. St. Cloud State has shared the net with three goalkeepers, holding 6 goals scored against.
