MARQUETTE, Mich. - Three members of the NMU women's lacrosse team have been selected to the GLIAC All-Tournament Team: those being
Maddi Bast,
Minnie Bittell, and
Josie Lakosky.
Third year attacker-turned-defender
Maddi Bast earned her first All-Tournament team honors, following her second-consecutive season of being named to the All-GLIAC Second Team. Bast started both games in the post season, scoring a goal, scooping two ground balls, and causing three turnovers in two games.
Minnie Bittell capped off her career with four consecutive All-GLIAC First Team honors, and now her second-consecutive All-Tournament team. Over the weekend, Bittell started both games and posted five goals, five assists, 14 shots. six ground balls, and 11 draw controls.
Freshly crowned GLIAC Freshman of the Year and All-GLIAC First Teamer,
Josie Lakosky landed on the All-Tournament team in her first season as a Wildcat. Lakosky started in both games over the weekend, where she had five goals, one assist, 10 shots, two ground balls, and one caused turnover.
