NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association) has honored 128 student-athletes in Division II with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2024.
Minnie Bittell of Northern Michigan has been named a first-team all-region selection.
Minnie capped off her extraordinary career with an exceptional final season, leading the GLIAC in all major offensive categories en route to earning her fourth consecutive All-GLIAC First Team Honor, and finishing eighth in the nation in total goals (72) and shots (157), 10th in total points (108) and shots per game (8.35), 11th in goals per game (3.79), and 14th in points per game (5.68).
"I've said this a lot, but I'm so proud of Minnie for everything that she accomplished this year," says head coach
Lindsey (LeMay) Majkrzak. "Her stats all season were stellar, was a top performer in the Midwest, and led our program to our highest regional ranking at no. 5. She deserves this recognition."
Minnie is now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the Division II 2024 All-American teams on May 22.
