MARQUETTE, Mich - The Northern Michigan women's lacrosse team closes out their home stretch this weekend against GLIAC rival the Concordia University - St. Paul Golden Bears.
The Wildcats will celebrate their five seniors on Saturday:
Minnie Bittell,
Kaitlyn Bridger,
Brigid Fornek,
Clara Johnson, and
Jane Taylor. The game is set for noon on Saturday.
The 'Cats have an overall record of 10-3 and a conference record of 1-1, and the Golden Bears come into the weekend with a 6-7 overall record and 1-1 conference mark.

- Bittell remains first in the GLIAC for goals and points, and is second overall for assists (54g, 21a, 75 pts).
- Josie Lakosky is fourth in the GLIAC for goals and fifth for total points (29g, 9a, 38 pts).
- Bridger is another point leader for the Wildcats (22g, 13a, 35pts)
- Bittell and Bridger hold the top spots for the Wildcats with nearly 50 draw controls each
- Dayna Carlson has 13 overall caused turnovers for the 'Cats
- Freshman goalkeeper Lauren Esposito is third in the GLIAC for saves (83) and save percentage (44.6).
A Look at the Golden Bears
The CSP Golden Bears have a current record of 6-7 overall and 1-1 in the GLIAC conference most recently dropping their match to Grand Valley State in a 16-1 decision. The Bears are tied with the Wildcats for second in the conference rankings. Sophomore Susie Monson is currently second in the GLIAC for goals and points with 34 goals and 50 points. Freshman goalkeeper Marge Lucio has 87 saves total, sitting second in the GLIAC for saves.
