NMU Lacrosse Announces 2025 Schedule

MARQUETTE, Mich. - Head coach Lindsey LeMay and the NMU women's lacrosse team have announced it's 2025 schedule of games.

The Wildcats will play 17 regular-season contests between February 14 and April 26 before the post-season begins in early May 2025. The games are divided into eight at home, five true road games, and four neutral road games.

The Wildcats open the season with three straight at home, starting with the season and home opener against Walsh on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 5 p.m. from the Superior Dome. The weekend rounds out with a clash against UW-Stout on Sunday the 16th at 4 p.m. before the 'Cats host UW-Lacrosse on Saturday, February 22 at noon.

The Cats' first road games come over spring break, when the team travels to Illinois and Missouri for a trio of matches. They start with a true road match against Quincy on March 5, a neutral-site game against Missouri Western in Quincy, Illinois, and finally a match against Maryville in St. Louis on March 9.

The 'Cats return home for one before hitting the road again, that lone match coming on Saturday, March 15 at noon.

Back on the road, NMU plays U-Indy in a neutral site contest at GVSU on March 21 before opening conference play with GLIAC newcomer Saginaw Valley State, new to the conference in women's lacrosse for the 2025 season, on March 23.

Conference play continues back at home with a pair of match-ups to finish the month of March, as the 'Cats host the Davenport Panthers on Friday the 28th at 5 p.m. before the Grand Valley State Lakers at noon on Sunday the 30th.

The first four of the Wildcats final six regular season matchups come away from home, starting with a trip to St. Paul, Minnesota. The 'Cats take on conference foe Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. eastern before turning around to face College of Saint Benedict on Sunday the 6th in St. Paul.

The final pair of regular-season road games comes from Grand Rapids, where the 'Cats play conference foes Grand Valley and Davenport. The 'Cats play the Lakers from Grand Rapids on Friday, April 11 before squaring off against the Panthers on Sunday the 13th at noon ET.

NMU rounds out the regular season with a pair of conference matches at home split up over two weekends. The first to Saginaw Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18, before rounding out the season with senior day against Concordia St. Paul on Saturday, April 26 at noon.
