BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The NMU men's golf team concluded its 2024 fall season at the DU Panther Invitational, finishing 7th of 12 teams.
The Wildcats trimmed six strokes off of its day one score, turning in a +13 to bring the two-day total to +32.
Bedford Valley played a touch easier today compared to yesterday, averaging a score of 76.64. As a team, the 'Cats averaged slightly better at 75.25.

A trio of 'Cats finished the tournament within one stroke of each other, those being
Walter Ylitalo (+2 74, two day total of +6),
Brady Badker (+3 75, two day total of +7), and
Arthur Ylitalo (+3 75, two day total of +8), who placed 23rd, 24th, and 27th individually.
Walter started his evening three over through his first seven holes, the bounced back in his final 12, shooting -1 with two birdies. Badker shot a consistent round, shooting 14 pars with a birdie of his own, and Arthur carded two birdies and12 pars.
Tyler Annala rounded out the scoring with his round of +5 (77), carding three birdies.
Russell Sprecher finished 46th as an individual, and
Levi Pennala competed as an individual, finishing 61st.
