Hear From Heidi Voigt
While the recently canceled meets have had an impact on the season, Voigt mentioned how the extra time off for rest and racing in practice might pay off more as the team focuses on quality rather than quantity when preparing for the GLIAC Championships.
"Everything we do is more important on the techniques, and the finishes and starts. We start giving them more rest but asking them to go faster and do certain things. Our divers for sure at this point are not learning a lot of new dives, they're fine-tuning those dives, getting everything ready to go."
