How It Happened
1st Half

The Wildcats earned an early chance to strike, as Madison Bilbia corralled a pass from Molly Pistorius and beat her defender to go one-on-one with the keeper. Bilbia made a good strike, but the keeper got a piece of it to deflect it away from danger.

The 'Cats maintained great pressure, generating another quality chance with just over 26 minutes to go. The Wildcats generated a turnover at the 50-yard line, and Molly Pistorius beat a defender to feed Hannah Kastamo in the area. Kastamo got a good strike from her right foot, but just missed the left post.

Molly Pistorius had another chance late in the half, as she sent a header just wide of the left post, and the game remained scoreless into the second half.

2nd Half
The 'Cats came out of the gates on a mission, earning a corner kick in the first handful of minutes. Stephanie Trujillo curved a perfect ball into the box, Maria Storm went up and headed it into the bottom corner to give the 'Cats a 1-0 lead on her first goal of the season.

Another corner-kick opportunity for the Wildcats, as a ball bounced around in the area before Isabella Lorens was able to make a solid connection with the ball and find the back of the net to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead. This was Isabella's first goal of her career.

The 'Cats sealed the deal with a free kick that was placed right outside the box. Olivia Moreno curled a ball into the box that was in the perfect place for Allison Kroll to go up and head it into the goal, recording her first career goal and extending the Wildcat lead to 3-0.
