Homecoming Weekend
This weekend will mark Homecoming at Northern Michigan. Among the festivities, the 2023 NMU Sports Hall of Fame class will be recognized at halftime. Prior to kickoff, the pre-game Tailgate Party runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Superior Dome in Lot 55 and the adjacent grassy area. Food and refreshments will be available, along with music, yard games and kids' bounce houses.

A Word From Coach Richardson
"I think the second half (against Lake Erie), I didn't really like the energy and intensity on what we were doing on both sides of the ball. This coming weekend, La Crosse is extremely competitive and scrappy. This will be a great challenge for us...and we have to continue to stay focused on ourselves."

Last Week
The Wildcats hosted the Lake Erie College Storm in the home opener, where they were unable to come out with a victory, falling 24-21. The Wildcats could not hold onto a 21-7 lead heading into the final quarter, and fell in the final moments of the game after Lake Erie found the endzone with less than a minute left.

Mariano Valenti and Brock Franklin each rushed for a score, while freshman Jax Hertel recorded a pick-six on the defensive side of the ball.
