Box Score UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Wildcats took on the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals to round out its GLIAC games on the season, dropping this one 62-17.

Turnovers were the story in this one, as the 'Cats committed four turnovers in the first half and an interception in the second half, two of those turning into pick-sixes.

The Wildcats drop to 0-10 overall and 0-6 in conference play, and the Cardinals improve to 5-5 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

1st Half
Turnovers plagued the Wildcats, as four turnovers turned into 24 points for the Cardinals. Michael Love turned in a 90-yard kickoff return in the final minute of the half, the longest kickoff return of the season and the first kickoff return since 11/12/22, and would go into the half down 38-7.

The Cardinals turned in 13 first downs to the 'Cats two, with 101 rush yards to the 'Cats 24, and 169 receiving yards to NMU's 26.

2nd Half
Aidan Hoard threw another pick-six after his pass got deflected by a defensive lineman and was recovered by the Cardinals, extending the score to 45-7

The 'Cats found the scoreboard again, as Michael Halverson capped off a great drive from the green and gold to add three points to the total.

The 'Cats would strike one more time, as a great drive got them in the red zone. Brock Franklin took a hand-off from Aidan Hoard, and pounded his way in from five yards out. 

The 'Cats would go on to drop the game 62-17.
