MARQUETTE, Mich. - The NMU women's basketball team continues their three-game road trip in the Lower Peninsula with GLIAC matchups at Wayne State and Saginaw Valley State this week.
On Thursday, January 5, the Wildcats and Warriors will clash in Detroit at 5:30 p.m. Northern will then head north and finish the road trip in Saginaw on Saturday, January 7 with a 1 p.m. opening tip.

A Look at the Wildcats
The Wildcats are off to an 8-5 (3-1 GLIAC) start to the season. Northern is averaging 63.5 points/game while holding opponents to 57.8.
Makaylee Kuhn leads the Wildcats with 15.7 ppg and 7.5 rpg. She has scored in double figures in all but two contests and marked 17+ in eight games.
A Look at Wayne State
The Warriors are 8-3 on the season and 1-2 with GLIAC matchups. They average 73.2 ppg while holding opponents to just over 60 at 61.3 ppg.
