MARQUETTE, Mich. - The NMU Volleyball team is back on the road this weekend.
The 'Cats will begin their journey below the Mackinac at Ferris State on Sept. 30. The match is set to start at 7 p.m. The team will then travel back to the Upper Peninsula and face Lake Superior State on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 4 p.m.
GLIAC Standings
The Wildcats are at the helm of the GLIAC standings with an overall record of 13-2, 6-1 in the GLIAC.

Key Returners
Jacqueline Smith is back playing for the Wildcats. Smith finished third in the GLIAC and led the team in both kills per set (3.77) and total kills (381). She also led in Total attacks with 1155 and was fourth in hitting percentage with .182% last season.
All-GLIAC earners Lizzy Stark and Meghan Meyer are also back on the NMU roster. Stark and Meyer were second and third on the Wildcats in kills with 298 and 218, per set with 3.20 and 2.16, and all-out attacks with 844 and 508. Meyer led the team in hitting percentage with .281%, and Stark was second in digs with 251
NMU vs. Lake Superior State
Earlier in the season, the Lakers made the trip to the Vandament. They boasted a challenge for the 'Cats bringing the match to five sets, but NMU reigned victorious, 3-2.
NMU vs. Ferris State
NMU fell to the Bulldogs on Sept. 17, 0-3 at home. The 'Cats are looking for redemption to keep the lead in the GLIAC Conference.
