MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan University Men's Basketball team is riding a seven game winning streak and will look to carry that momentum to Wednesday (March 2), as Lake Superior State comes to town for a GLIAC Quarterfinals matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The GLIAC Semifinals and Championship game will be hosted by the highest remaining seed following the quarterfinals round.
LAST TIME OUT
NMU picked up two big road wins to earn a home playoff game. The 'Cats defeated Lake Superior State 102-69 and Ferris State 93-87.Â

Max Bjorklund put himself atop the NMU record books with the best performance in one half in the history of the program. In the second half, Bjorklund scored 40 points on 14-15 shooting, 9-10 three-point shooting, and 3-3 from the line. Bjorklund ended the game with 46 points, tying him with the 6th best scoring effort in program history.Â
