MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan University women's basketball team is set to host their first two GLIAC home games of the season.
The team will host the Ferris State Bulldogs, after the conclusion of the men's basketball game on Friday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. They will finish the weekend by hosting the Lake Superior State Lakers on Sunday, December 11 at 3 p.m.

Kadyn Blanchard is second on the team in points, averaging 11.0 ppg, and rpg with 6.0. Mallory McCartney is third on the team in ppg with 10.7, she is also shooting 43.2% from beyond the arc. The Lakers are coming into the GLIAC matchup with a 2-6 (1-1) record.
Mattison Rayman is averaging a double-double with 14.8 ppg, and 12.3 rpg. Both are team leads. Rayman is also averaging 1.3 blocks per game.
