MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Wildcats return to the NMU Soccer Field this weekend for their final pair of regular season home matchups before a three-game road trip.
NMU will first host Purdue Northwest on Friday, October 14 at 1 p.m. NMU won 4-0 earlier this season. The Wildcats will then host Parkside on Sunday, October 16 at 1 p.m. Northern had their best offensive game of the year against the Rangers, winning 7-1 in Kenosha.
Alumni Weekend, Senior Day on Sunday, and More
Along with the men's soccer team, the Wildcats welcome alumni to Marquette for this weekend's games along with festivities Friday through Sunday.
On Sunday, NMU will honor seniors
Rachael Erste,
Natalie Stampfly,
Shenae Kreps, and
Evelyn Flor. The local soccer clubs will also be in attendance to cheer on the Wildcats on Sunday.

A Look at the Wildcats
The Wildcats are 8-1-4 and 5-1-3 in conference competition. NMU's 36 goals and 102 points are tops in the GLIAC.
Justina L'Esperance is tied for second in the league in goals with seven while
Brooke Pietila is tied atop the leaderboard with six assists and tied for second with 18 points. In net, goalkeeper
Shenae Kreps has recorded three straight shutouts and is coming off GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
The Wildcats are among the best in the country at setting up their teammates, as they are 5th in total assists (30).

Scouting Purdue Northwest
Purdue Northwest is 0-12-1 this season and 0-9 in GLIAC play. They have been outscored 35-4 over the course of the 2022 campaign.
Scouting Parkside
The Rangers are 5-8 overall and 2-7 in the conference. They have been outscored 27-16 this season. Alexis Baker has six goals and Emily Mikkelson has seven assists to lead the attack.
