Midway Utah - The men and women competed on the final day of the US Cross Country Ski Championships. The event was held Dec. 31, 2021-Jan. 7,2022.
Multiple skiers did not compete pursuant to health and safety guidelines.
Men Senior Classic Sprint
Kjetil Baanerud led the Wildcat men and took 12th in the race with a time of 4:40.66. He placed sixth in the MSR Class.
Kristoffer Karsrud followed right behind his teammate with a time of 4:02.32, placed sixth in the MU23 Class.
Daniel Streinz and Matthew Bourne also competed in the race.
Men Junior Classic Sprint
Cooper Lennox had a Top 20 finish in the MU20 Class with a time of 3:51.02.
Women Junior Classic Sprint
Gretchen Haggenmiller took the lead for the Wildcat women finishing with a time of 5:19.71. She was in the Top 10 of the FU Class.
Lauren McCollor was right behind her teammate, ending with a time of 4:23.73. She was in the Top 15 of the FU Class.
Former Wildcats
Ian Torchia placed fifth in the Men Senior Sprint with a time of 4:13.92. Rosie Frankowski ended with a time of 5:02.90 in the Women Senior Sprint.
