Marquette, Mich. - The Northwood Timberwolves were in town for a men's basketball GLIAC matchup on Saturday (Jan. 29), with the NMU out on top 77-59.
First Half

NMU took a 38-21 lead into the locker room.
Justin Brookens led the way in the first half with twelve points. He also added five rebounds.
Ben Wolf added nine points to go along with one steal and one block.
NMU finished the first half shooting 44.8% from the field and 42.9% from beyond the arc. The 'Cats bench contributed to the scoring with fifteen points.
Second Half
John Kerr opened the second half scoring for the 'Cats with a tough layup, 40-21 'Cats.
Kerr follows that up with a fadeaway jumper, plus a foul. He would make his free throw, completing the three point play. 'Cats up 43-25.
Max Bjorklund grabs the rebound and goes coast to coast laying it up with the opposite hand to extend the lead 49-35.

John Kerr makes a circus shot, falling out of bounds. The 'Cats lead at that point 73-53.
The Wildcats led from start to finish in the win over Northwood 77-59.

John Kerr led the way for the Wildcats with 20 points in 33 minutes of play to go along with seven rebounds.
Justin Brookens had a strong outing with 19 points shooting 100% from beyond the arc, and 89% at the free throw line. Brookens also added five rebounds.
