MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan University Women's Basketball team will return to the Berry this weekend, where they have not played a GLIAC game in over a month. The 'Cats will take on Davenport on Thursday (Jan. 20) at 5:30 p.m. They will then welcome Grand Valley State to town on Saturday (Jan. 22) with an 11 a.m. start.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats were on the road for a pair of GLIAC games this past weekend. Northern fell 71-56 at Wayne State on Saturday. On Monday, 'Cats played a makeup game at PNW, dropping a close 59-56 decision.
Makaylee Kuhn led NMU, averaging 19.5 points in the two contests.

Makaylee Kuhn continues to lead the 'Cats in several statistical categories, while also ranking in the top five in a majority of GLIAC statistics, most notably in points per game, with an average of 16.7.

- Northern ranks top-20 in the nation in rebounding margin in Division II, pulling down an average of 8.5 more boards per game.
