Box Score MIDLAND, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University women's soccer team (2-4, 0-2 GLIAC) fell in a road Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match 3-0 to Northwood University.

FIRST HALF |
The Timberwolves notched two goals in the first half of action, but NMU led in both shots (6-4) and corner kicks (5-2) in the opening half.
In shots on goal, the 'Cats also lead in the first with a margin of 6-4 over the home team.
Two of NMU's shots on goal came courtesy of Caroline Halonen while the other two were kicked by Gwen Kiilunen and Calihan Bearden.
The Wildcats also held a majority of the possession in the half as they had control of the ball 56-percent of the time.

SECOND HALF |
The second half saw Halonen take another shot on goal and Ashley Koch add one attempt.
NMU outshot Northwood again in the second half (7-6) and allowed only two shots on goal.
In the 63rd minute, the Timberwolves scored the final goal of the game to make the score at the horn 3-0 in favor of the home team.

Halonen's led the Wildcats with six total shots and three on goal. Six other NMU student-athletes notched shots with Bearden, Kiilunen, and Koch each tallying one shot on goal.
The Wildcats led the game in total shots (13-10), shots on target (6-4), and corners (5-4). NMU also led in possession with a 53-percent mark.
Shenae Kreps was the goalkeeper for the 'Cats for the duration of the match and had two saves.
