MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan University women's basketball team is back in action this weekend for split home and away matches.
The Wildcats compete at home on Thursday against the University of Minnesota-Crookston Golden Eagles for a 5:30 p.m. game at the Berry Events Center. On Saturday, the 'Cats make the journey to Minnesota to tip off against the University of Concordia-St.Paul Golden Bears for a 3 p.m. game.

Returning to the court is
Makaylee Kuhn who was a 2020-21 All-GLIAC first team member. Kuhn put up 34 points and has shot 100% from the three point line in her first two games of the season.
Forward
Emily Mueller, also appearing for the Wildcats, has grabbed 17 rebounds in just two games.
NMU VS MINNESOTA-CROOKSTON
The Wildcats women's basketball team has faced the Golden Eagles only three times in program history. The 'Cats hold a 3-0 record against Minnesota-Crookston, last facing them during the 2017-18 season.
NMU VS CONCORDIA ST. PAUL
The Wildcats have faced CSP 10 times since 2003. The 'Cats and the Bears hold a split record of 5-5, the Wildcats took the win during the teams last meeting in a close game, 65-60.
