Box Score MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Michigan University lacrosse team picked up their second straight victory with a decisive 16-4 victory over Quincy University Sunday afternoon in the Superior Dome.

FIRST HALF

The Wildcats opened the scoring with a free position shot by Graison Ringlever just 22 seconds into play before going up 4-0 in the first 10 minutes of the half behind goals from Ringlever (2), Speas and Bahr.
Emily Renfrew scored a natural hat trick midway through the half to put NMU up 9-0 with seven minutes still to play.
The team went to the locker room with the 12-0 lead as Angelica Bogden, Tess Kostelec and Marina Wilson (2) all added goals to the Wildcats' tally.

SECOND HALF

The Hawks broke their drought just under five minutes into the second half to negate the shutout bid for the Wildcats, as they continued to lead 12-1.
NMU answered back just moments later to regain their 12-goal lead with 23 minutes to play in the game.
Ringlever notched her fourth of the game with 15:40 left in the game.
Wilson was the third woman to net a hat trick for the green and gold when she scored with 4:54 remaining to give the Wildcats the 16-3 lead.
Quincy got one back before the end of the game but the Wildcats held on for the 16-4 final and their second consecutive victory at home.
