Wildcat Lacrosse Dispatched by Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio — The Northern Michigan lacrosse team fell to Findlay, 20-2, Sunday afternoon at the Armstrong Sports Complex.

The Oilers came out shooting in the first half, scoring 11 unanswered goals.

Savannah Stich scored two goals in the first four minutes of the second half to make the score 11-2. The Oilers didn't slow down, netting the final nine goals of the game.

The shots on goal were 36-6 in favor of the Oilers, now 6-6 (1-1 GLIAC).

Brianna Bangle made a total of 16 saves in the match up. She has now reached the 10-save plateau seven times, including in all three of the Wildcats' GLIAC games.

Ciara Burud (3g-3a) had the most points in the game.

The Wildcats, now 2-9 (0-3 GLIAC), will be on the road on April 15 to take on Grand Valley State.
