Wildcat Lacrosse Falls to Indianapolis

MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Michigan lacrosse team fell to Indianapolis, 26-3, Sunday at the Superior Dome.

With 20:15 left to play in the first half, the Wildcats trailed, 6-2. Blair Osgood and Graison Ringlever netted the Northern Michigan goals.

The Greyhounds responded by scoring the final nine goals of the first half to take a 15-2 lead into the intermission.

The Greyhounds did not slow down in the second half, scoring five unanswered goals. Ringlever ended the Wildcats' scoring drought at the 15:20 mark. 

Anna Rulapaugh (5g-3a) and Hana Priddy (5g-3a) each notched eight points to lead Indianapolis, now 10-4 (3-2 GLIAC), to its road victory. Priddy also lead all players with eight draw controls.

The Greyhounds' 26 goals is a program record. They began play in 2016.

Brianna Bangle made 13 saves. She now has posted at least 10 stops in six-straight games.

The Wildcats, now 2-11 (0-5 GLIAC), will next host Walsh on April 28 and Lake Erie on April 30.
