Box Score ALLENDALE, Mich. — The Northern Michigan lacrosse team was dispatched by Grand Valley State, 22-2, Saturday afternoon at the GVSU Lacrosse/Track & Field Stadium.
Grand Valley State started off strong in the first half, scoring eight unanswered goals. Graison Ringlever ended the streak, but the first half ended at a score of 14-1.
Grand Valley State didn't let up in the second halfm scoring three unanswered goals before Ringlever found the back of the net to make the score 17-2
Ringlever (2g) was the top scorer for the Wildcats. Maria D'Angelo (4g) was the top scorer in the match up while teammate Kelley Fitzgerald (2g-6a) led the game in points.
The shots on goal were 35-2 in favor of Grand Valley State.
Brianna Bangle made a total of 13 saves in the game.
The Wildcats, now 2-10 (0-4 GLIAC), will be at the Superior Dome April 23 to play their first game at home since March 7.
