ALLENDALE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University senior Cheyenne Stewart earned All-American status with an eighth-place finish in the triple jump at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday.
Stewart broke the NMU school record with a mark of 41-7 in the event improving on her qualifying mark by over a foot. Stewart was also an All-American in the triple jump during indoor season.
NMU freshman Jasmine Williams also competed in the discus, but fouled on her attempts.
