Chloe Tompkins

Chloe Tompkins begins her second year as a member of the coaching staff for NMU Women's Basketball after graduating in 2019.

In the 2019-20 season, she helped the team achieve their seventh-straight .500 or better season in league play as the team qualified for the GLIAC Tournament for the eighth-straight time.

After redshirting her first year, Tompkins appeared in 26 games with 22 starts in her second season at NMU. She finished the year averaging 7.9 points and nearly two assists per game. Her sophomore season, Tompkins was averaging 8.0 points and 3.4 assists per game while starting all 15 games before suffering a knee injury that forced her to miss the next two season.

Despite being unable to return to the court, she continued to play an important part in the team's success.  Tompkins continued helping the Wildcats as she served as a student assistant for the past two seasons.  The Wildcats reached the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament each year of her career and made the NCAA Division II Midwest Region Semifinals last season.
