Northern Michigan University

Patrick Foppe was named the head golf coach in August of 2022. 

Foppe is PGA Certified in teaching and coaching and earned his degree in Agribusiness with a Concentration in Professional Golf Management from Arizona State University in 2010. He has twelve years of experience teaching and coaching golf and has worked with a handful of collegiate golf programs, the most recent being California University of Pennsylvania.

Foppe also has a master's degree in Kinesiology from Texas Women's University. He plans on utilizing his kinesiology knowledge to evaluate junior golfers for the program as well as assist with the overall development of the student-athletes at Northern Michigan University.

As a 2020 GRAA Top 100 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional and Player Development Award recipient, he effectively teaches players individual skills, team concepts, and competitive values. He can execute practice sessions, golf course strategy sessions, and competition plans.
