Trevor Molitor

Trevor Molitor joined Northern Michigan University as the Digital Media Manager in June of 2026. In this role, Molitor directs the creative vision and strategic execution of multimedia content across the NMU Athletic Department. He oversees all graphic design, photography, and video production strategies, focusing on elevating the Wildcat brand, driving fan engagement, and modernizing digital marketing efforts for all of the NMU sports programs.

Prior to arriving in Marquette, Molitor served as the Content Creation & Brand Management Graduate Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where he earned his Master of Science in Sports Management. At Parkside, he played a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive brand guidelines and digital strategies across 17 sports. He successfully drove fan outreach and digital growth, notably accelerating the Rangers' Men’s and Women’s Basketball social media followings by 35.6% and 29.6%, in a single season. Additionally, Molitor handled media production and content strategy for The Den Collective, directly supporting NIL initiatives and digital alignment across the basketball programs.

A 2024 graduate of Carthage College, Molitor earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing & Management with a minor in Graphic Design. Combining his digital media production background with his firsthand perspective as a four-year member of the Firebirds' Men’s Soccer team, he served as a digital media creator for the athletic department, managing graphic design responsibilities for Men’s Soccer, Men’s/Women’s Basketball, and Men’s/Women’s Lacrosse.

Molitor's sports industry background also includes digital marketing, in game display/entertainment, content creation, and event management during internships with the Wisconsin PGA and the Kenosha Kingfish of the Northwoods League.
