Tom Gemignani was named Assistant Golf Coach at Northern Michigan University in July 2025, having served in a part-time capacity with the NMU golf program during the 2024-25 season. He works under Head Coach Ben Johnson and helps with the daily coaching duties for both the men’s and women’s teams.
One of Gemignani’s defining strengths is his expertise in sports psychology; his role includes helping NMU golfers develop the mental side of their game—how to approach competition, handle pressure, and maintain focus.
His first official day as full-time assistant coach begins August 1, 2025, ahead of the 2025-26 season.
