R.J. Harris began his duties as Director of Hockey Operations on August 27, 2026.
Before NMU, Harris was named Equipment Manager & Assistant Director of Hockey Operations for the Iowa Heartlanders of the ECHL in July 2025. The Heartlanders were Harris' first foray into pro hockey, where he joined Iowa after two seasons with the USHL Tri-City Storm from 2023-25.
Prior to that, the Elmer, NJ native worked as a supervisor at Pure Hockey. Harris is a graduate of the Rowan College of New Jersey and played two seasons of junior hockey in the MNJHL with the Hudson Crusaders.Â
