2023-24
Indoor:
- At the Titan Challenge, she placed 6th in the 800m
- Took 23rd in the 800m at the Jet’s Pizza Invite
Outdoor:
2022-23
Indoor:
- Participated in six indoor meets including the GLIAC Indoor Championships where she took 6th in the DMR, 12th in the high jump, and 7th in the Pentathlon
- Took her first collegiate 1st place finish in the high jump at the UW-Oshkosh Early Bird Invite with a PR mark of 1.54m
- Helped the 4x400m relay team take 2nd at UW-Oshkosh
Outdoor:
Before NMU
- Track & Field team captain and MVP her senior year
- Won the conference title in the 800m as a junior in 2021 and made appearances in the state championship as a junior and senior
- First Team All-Conference as a sophomore and senior in volleyball
- Second Team All-Conference as a freshman
- Team captain and team MVP three years in a row
- Reached 1000 kills her senior year
Personal
- Also a member of the NMU Track & Field team
- Daughter of Paul and Lisa Gruner
- From Merrimac, Wisconsin
- Father Paul played football semi-professionally for the Racine Raiders and won two national championships
- Hobbies include going to coffee shops, running, hanging out with friends
