Biography
2021-22: Indoor - Did not compete
Outdoor - Ran the 5,000m race at three meets including the GLIAC Championships, where she finished 13th in a season best time of 18:36.14. Took fourth at the SNC Twilight Meet.
2020-21: Indoor - Participated at five meets including the GLIAC Championships, where she took seventh in both the 3,000 (10:39.80) and the 5,000 (18:34.51). Placed second in the 3,000 at the SVSU Tune-Up Meet (10:51.15).
Outdoor - Set a personal record in the 10,000m race at the GLIAC Championships, crossing the line at 38:52.60 for a ninth place finish. Ran the 5,000m race at two other meets, winning the event at the 2021 Big Blue Alumni Invite and setting a personal best mark at the GINA Relays (18:22.59).
2019-20: Indoor - Earned a pair of podium finishes in the 5,000, taking second at the Big Dawg Invitational (18:28.56) and third at the GVSU Big Meet (18:23.54).
Outdoor - No Season Due to COVID-19
Before NMU: Earned a total of eight varsity letters from Grandville High School as a member of the cross country and track and field teams. Named All-Conference on three occasions. Earned All-Area recognition three times. One All-State honor.
Personal: Daughter of Jodi Malon. Born August 3, 2001. Biology major.
