2021-22: Indoor - Earned a pair of podium finishes at the GLIAC Championships, taking 2nd place in the 60m dash with a time of 7.69 and third in the 200m dash with a time of 24.79. Took three wins, including the 55m dash at the Lake Michigan Open with a time of 7.21, and two victories at the UW Oshkosh Early Bird Invite, where she finished ahead of the competition in the 60m dash at 7.88 and the 200m dash at 25.97. Earned a second place finish in the 60m at the GVSU Big Meet, and a third place finish at the Jet's Pizza Invite. Took second in the 200m at the GVSU Big Meet and the Jet's Pizza Invite, and took second in the 300m race at the W-C-W Meet. 

Outdoor - Took 2nd place in the 100m dash at 12.08 and 4th place in the 200m dash finishing at 24.59 at the GLIAC Championships. Earned five first place finishes on the season. Won the 100m dash at the SNC Twilight Meet with a time of 12.17 and at the GVSU Al Owens Classic, running a season best time of 11.88. Also won the 200m dash at the Al Owens Classic, crossing the finish line at 24.89. Helped NMU secure two wins in the 4x100m relay, finishing at 47.92 at the Al Owens Classic and 48.13 at the Drake Alternative Meet.  

2020-21: Indoor - Won the 200m at the SVSU Tune-Up Meet, finishing at 25.53. Competed in the 60 and 200 at the GLIAC Championships. 

Outdoor - At the GLIAC Championships, took 4th in the 200m with a time of 24.91 and 5th in the 100m crossing at 12.23. Helped NMU win the 4x200m relay at the GINA Relays, besting the competition with a time of 1:43.78. Also was apart of the 4x100m relay team that took 2nd at the GINA Relays. 

2019-20: Indoor - Won the 60m dash at The Opener Meet, 7.86, and The Northern Challenge, 7.85.  

Outdoor - No Season Due to COVID-19

2018-19: Indoor - Captured first place in the 200-meter dash at the GLIAC Championships with a new school record of 24.61. Took fourth in the 60-meter dash at GLIACs with second-fastest time in school history after taking first place at the Jets Pizza Invite and Pointer Invite. Placed second in the 60-meter and 200-meter dash at The Opener.

Outdoor - Reached the NCAA Championships and competed in the 100 and 200 meter dash. Placed 13th in the 200, 24.58, and 14th in the 100, 11.76. Placed first in the GLIAC Championships with a time of 24.17 in the 200. Finished second in the 100 at the GLIACS, posting a time of 11.76.

2017-18: Indoor – Specialized in sprints competing in the 60-meter dash seven times and the 200-meter dash on five occasions. Recorded a season-best time of 7.99 seconds in the 60-meters at the Opener to begin the season. In the 200-meter dash, Peterson recorded a season-best at the GLIAC Championships with a time of 26.43 seconds.

Outdoor – Moved into the NMU record book in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes. Peterson is ranked seventh in program history in the 100-meter dash after finishing in 12.36 at the GLIAC Championships. Finished runner-up in the event at both the St. Norbert Twilight and Spartan Invite. In the 200-meters, Peterson recorded her best time of the season at the GLIAC Championships when she finished in 25.78 seconds, the 10^th-best time in school history. Took first-place with the 4x100-meter relay team at the St. Norbert Twilight.
