2021-22 Women's Track and Field
Biography
2021-22: Indoor - Took 8th in the pole vault at the GLIAC Championships, reaching 3.45m. Won the event at the UW Oshkosh Early Bird Invite jumping 3.39m and took 2nd at the W-C-W Meet with a height of 3.36m.Â
Outdoor - Earned a 3rd place podium finish at the GLIAC Championships in the pole vault, reaching a personal record height of 3.69m. Placed 4th in the pole vault at the SNC Twilight Meet and 5th at the Golden Grizzlies Invite and UW-Platteville Opener.Â
2020-21:Â Indoor -Â Placed 11th jumping 3.37 at the GLIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Outdoor - Jumped a personal best at 3.43 coming in 5th for the Hillsdale College "GINA" Relays. Placed 11th with a jump of 3.30 at the GLIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
2019-20: Indoor -Â Placed 13th with a jump of 3.20m at the GLIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
2018-19: Indoor - Did not compete.
Before NMU: Rechsteiner was a four-time track & field letter winner at Anchor Bay High School. She was a two-time state qualifier and owns a school record. Rechsteiner was also a two-time Macomb Country Champion and two-time field MVP of her team.Â
Personal: Daughter of Jennifer Dzmura-Denney & Aubrey Higgins and has one sister. Majoring in Neuroscience.Â
