Biography

2017-18

Cross Country - Competed in the UW-Parkside Vic Godfrey Open on September 9 with a 5k time of 24:29.6.

Indoor – Appeared in the 800-meter run on four occasions, finishing with a top time of 2:24.57 at the GVSU Big Meet. Also competed once in the 400-meters at the GLIAC Championships, finishing with a time of 1:02.99. Earned a pair of top-10 finishes at the GVSU Big Meet and Pointer Invite as a part of the 4x400-meter relay team.

Outdoor – Ran in the 400-meters four times during the outdoor season and now ranks ninth in NMU history with a time of 59.85 seconds, which she earned at the GLIAC Championships. She finished fifth at the conference meet to earn her third top-10 finish of the season in the 400-meters. McDonald made a pair of appearances in the 800-meters, earning a top time of 2:27.30 at the GVSU Al Owens Classic. Also competed once in the 200-meter dash at the Golden Grizzlies Invite, finishing in 27 seconds.

Before NMU: Captured indoor class L state championships title in 600-meters, 4x200-meter relay, and 4x400-meter relay. 

Personal: Daughter of Wendy McDonnald. Majoring in Biochemistry.
