Biography
2021 - Earned All-GLIAC First Team honors with a time of 23:02.6 at the GLIAC Championships, placing 10th overall. Named a 2021 NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country All-Academic Athlete by the USTFCCCA. Ran in six total meets for the Wildcats. Ran a personal best 5K mark of 18:52.9 for 2nd place overall at the Northwood Invite, leading NMU to victory. Took 5th overall at the Lucian Rosa Invite in the 6K, crossing the finish line at 22:57.0. Competed at the Midwest Regional Championships, running a personal best 6K time of 21:50.9 for 38th place.
2020 - No Season Due to COVID-19
2019 - Named Second Team All-GLIAC with a time of 22:28.8 to finish 20th. Placed fourth in 18:40.8 at the Northwood Invite. Took 13th at the Roy Griak Invite by finishing in 23:04.8. Time of 22:44.3 for 22nd at the Spartan Invite. Was 42nd at the Conference Crossover in 23:39.6. Finished 46th at the NCAA Regional in 22:35.5.
Before NMU: Earned a total of eight varsity letters from Grandville High School as a member of the cross country and track and field teams. Named All-Conference on three occasions. Earned All-Area recognition three times. One All-State honor.
Personal: Daughter of Jodi Malon. Born August 3, 2001. Biology major.
