2017 Women's Cross Country
Biography
2017: Did not compete. Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.
2016: Took 14th at the Roy Griak Invitational, clocking in at 23:26.7. Ran fastest 6K of the season en route to a top-10 finish at the Conference Crossover Invitational on Oct. 8; posted a time of 22:03.20 to place ninth. Earned all-GLIAC first team honors by placing ninth at the GLIAC Championship on Oct. 22 with a time of 22:15.0. Represented Northern Michigan at the NCAA Midwestern Regional (51st, 22:11.15) on Nov. 5 and the NCAA National Championship on Nov. 19 (66th, 21:57.2). Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.
2015: Placed fifth in the 4K at the U.P. Championships with a time of 14:52.6. Raced to a top-25 finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, finishing 22nd with a time of 23:36.4. Earned all-GLIAC second team accolades after claiming 20th at the league's championship meet with a time of 22:47.4. Helped Wildcats qualify for their first NCAA National Championship since 2005 by clocking in at 22:23.166 en route to a 50th-place finish at the NCAA Midwestern Regional. Posted fastest 6K time (22:06.70) at the NCAA National Championship, taking 85th. Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.
2014: Competed in five races, posting a season-best 6K time of 21:48 at the GLIAC Championship. Clocked a time of 22:08 at the Midwest Regional. Named the team's Newcomer of the Year.
High School: Named an All-American and team MVP. Was a member of the All-State team twice. Won the Captain Athena Award.
In cross country was All-State while setting a school record in the 4k. Set a school record for the 3,200m in track, while also being a member of the All-State team.
Personal: Daughter of Ron and Jennifer Brisbois. Environmental science major. Born on February 13th, 1996.
