2021 Women's Cross Country
Biography
2021 - Ran in five meets for the Wildcats. Took 13th place at the Northwood Invite with a time of 20:18.0. Competed at the GLIAC Championships, running the course in 28:05.4.
2020 - No Season Due to COVID-19
2019 - Took 14th at the U.P. Championships in 20:34.8. Finished 36th in the season-opening meet at the Northwood Invite. Finished the GLIAC Championships in 25:30.0.
2018 - Competed in five races for the Wildcats. Finished 16th at U.P. Championships, clocking in at 20:20.60. Posted a time of 25:07.70 at the GLIAC Championships. Started the season with a time of 25:45.80 at the Spartan Invite and followed it the next week at the Roy Griak Invitational by posting a time of 25:42.90. Also ran at the Conference Crossover.
BEFORE NMU: Friedrich competed on both the varsity cross country and track & field teams at Lockport Township High School. She was a team captain for the cross country team and named MVP for her senior campaign. She also earned the Porter Pride Award for the team. She advanced to the state meet four times in cross country and eight times in track & field.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Michael and Julie Friedrich. Majoring in Environmental Science.
