Biography

2017-18: Set a school record in the 200-yard individual medley, and a PEIF Pool and school record in the 100-yard IM. All-American after finishing fifth place at the NCAA Championships in the 200-yard IM. 12 total first-place finishes throughout the year, including the 200 IM at the GLIAC Championships.

2016-17: Knox-Leonard won two gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze metals at the GLIAC Tournament. The two gold medals came in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:47.24 and the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 6:40.78.  Leonard’s silver medal came in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:30.26. He then moved on to take home bronze in the 400-yard Medley Relay with a time of 3:17.58.

2015-16: Named team's Most Valuable Player. At the NCAA Championships, earned All-American honors in the 400 IM finishing in fourth place and setting a school record (3:50.23). Swam to his second All-American finish in the 200 IM posting a seventh place finish (1:48.08). Set a school and meet record at the GLIAC Championships in the 400 IM becoming the first Wildcat to win a men's title (3:51.65).

High School: Participated in swimming and diving.

Personal: Son of Jason and Melinda Leonard. Majoring in athletic training.
