2019-20 Swimming and Diving
Biography
2018-19: Member of two relays that finished third at the GLIAC Championships, 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay. Earned points in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard freestyle at the GLIACs.
2017-18: Highlighted the season with a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke at the Calvin College Invitational. Second place in the 100-yard freestyle against Saginaw Valley St. Took second-place in the 75-yard freestyle in the team’s dual meet with Findlay.
2016-17: Kapustin won bronze metal at the GLIAC in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:23.59.
Before NMU: Kapustin has been swimming for eight years and attended a national meet in Florida. An all-conference honoree and team MVP, he attended the state meet his freshman year.
